I love cutting and colouring hair in equal measure. For me, nothing beats delighting a client with a complete new look. I’m told I put people at ease and interpret their needs in ways that work for them. It’s safe to say I love having my own salon, I even enjoy dealing with its everyday challenges! I also love improving my technique and creativity, and helping others do the same. Away from styling hair, motorbikes are my passion. From scooters, to sponsoring professional racers I live for two wheeled weekends.

From the very first day Lee Holmes opened, I have always loved working here. Everyone gets on really well. For me, it’s not really like going to work. We have such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. I always make sure my clients are comfortable and really satisfied with their cut and colour, I think it’s great that everyone is different. In my spare time I like going to the gym an taking my dog on one country walks

My passion is cutting hair. I love to create personalised looks for the individuality of each client. I worked for Vidal Sassoon for 15 years and still embrace the philosophy of creating beautiful hair with shape and texture. Theres nothing better than a client feeling good and being excited about their hair, the warmth and friendly atmosphere of the salon adds to the whole experience too. I am at the salon Thursday, Friday and Saturday as I have two lively little boys who keep me very busy and my four legged companion frank who needs walks and copious amounts of attention too

I began my apprenticeship at Lee Holmes Hair and Beauty at the beginning of 2016. I qualified as a graduate stylist and I’ve recently been promoted to stylist. It’s the environment that makes working in the salon so good, especially the great people I work with. I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with both my Mum and Dad owning their own salons, so I have extensive experience in the industry but I’m always learning new skills and I’m enjoying picking them up quickly. Styling is my biggest passion but I enjoy cutting and colouring both men and women’s hair. When I’m not at the salon I enjoy supporting local charities and spending time at the gym working on my fitness.

I love everything about hair, from subtle changes to complete transformations. I particularly enjoy a good balayage, finished off with some glamorous curls. Nothing really compares to the look on my clients face when they see the final look on there hair. thats a big daily achievement. In my spare time I enjoy dancing at my local dance school and spending time with my family and friends

I’ve been with Lee Holmes since February 2016, after a career spanning 19 years as a Beauty Therapist, my favourite part is making people feel amazing after they’ve had a treatment. I’m still so passionate about putting a smile on people faces and taking the stresses of everyday life away. When it comes to speed, I’m a really quick waxer but I’d say my specialty is gel nails; in fact I made the finals for national nail technician at the English Hair & Beauty Awards last year. When I’m not working, I enjoy going to gym, nice walks, and of course seeing family and friends.

I have been in the beauty industry for 6 years now, I find it a very rewarding career. To know you truly make a difference to the way a person feels mentally and physically about themselves is what continually drives me forward to seek out new treatments and ideas for people to indulge themselves when they come to visit me. Outside of work you will find me at at many of Nottinghams restaurants or a pudding pantry with my other half as I am a big foodie

From the very first day I started at the salon I have loved working here, everyone is so friendly. Previously I worked in a call centre and working in a salon environment is so different to what I was previously used to. I really enjoy doing the in salon training on a Tuesday evenings, I really enjoy learning all the techniques I’ve learnt so far and I cannot wait to get on the salon floor.

I started at Lee Holmes hair and beauty in March, I have however been doing my apprenticeship for just under 2 years which means all my coursework is signed off and I’m now just waiting on my final exam date to come through. hopefully it will be soon as I cannot wait to get onto the salon floor. I love all aspects of hairdressing but my particular favourite is colour.
